The building is just about as non-descript as they come, located on a commercial strip full of old shops nobody really goes into, and boosts not an ounce of charm. Every time I stare at the facade, I wonder what could have posses someone to decide to put bathroom tiles on the front of the house? And why leave a patch of it unfinished (see to the top-right)?
But alas, now we own this ugly facade. With everything else pressing for renovation, we’re just gonna have to live with it for a while.
The previous owner had leased the storefront space to a cafe, a neighbourhood social club of sorts that didn’t look like they sell much coffee (if you get my drift). The tenant left whatever they built in there and couldn’t take, so it also became ours to deal with:
