Newsletter – Diane mentioned that frequently there were no newsletters available. Fr Reg took note and also mentioned that the “Sunday Plus” page of the newsletter would be phased out. Follow-up to “Open The Doors” – the diocese is planning an “outreach event” to follow up “Open The Doors” for later in 2008.
“Refreshing” the church – Fr Reg mentioned plans to “refresh” the Lady chapel or the Sacred Heart chapel.
Access to the church outside Mass times – Fr Reg mentioned plans to provide a secure area for prayer for those times when the church is not open for Mass.
Saint Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) – should we consider an SVP society in the parish? We should consider inviting an SVP person to talk to interested parishioners. Nancie does know an SVP person who she could invite |
